This requires a simultaneous steady twist and push motion. The fingers of the left hand are used to bring the loops together just ahead of the hook on the end of the rod. To remove, simply pull out rod. Refer to page N-26 for safety and working load factors. Banding is necessary to guard against accidental release of grip and provide maximum reliability.
